Google announced support for schema.org markup for company logos.
Google announced support for schema.org markup for company logos. The new layout allows you to specify which image on the page is preferable to display in the search results as the logo of the organization.
The markup looks like this (for a company with the main page site www.example.com):
<div itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Organization">
<a itemprop="url" href="https://www.example.com/">Home</a>
<img itemprop="logo" src="https://www.example.com/logo.png" />
</div>
Such a layout shows Google, which picture is included in the markup that is the logo of the organization and may possibly show up in search results.
